Two of my greatest passions in life - teaching and writing. I can't exactly tell which one comes first
as I enjoy both immensely. I've been a teacher for preschool children for 24 years. I enjoy sharing with the kids the magic period of discovery and learning. Each time this happens, it becomes a moment worth jubilating for.

As a writer, I get to unleash the creative and artistic side of me. More than anything else, I write to entertain my readers through my contributions on American Chronicle and fiction stories. I wrote my first short story " Winter Dream that won the grand prize in the Romance Short Story Writing Contest sponsored by Unibook Publishing in 2009. Thereafter, my serious writing endeavor got off to a flying start.

Currently, I'm learning the art of multi-tasking between preparing school-lesson plans, performing household chores, dancing samba and writing my first chicklit novel among other things.
Lately, it dawned on me-why not write for children, considering that I've already got a captured audience at school? Not a bad idea, huh?

Well, I've already warmed up by writing " Princess Julia and Her Pink Bracelet "a short story for 2-5 year olds- still unpublished though but after hearing Teacher- could- you -please -read -it -again reactions from the kids, I felt that every effort writing the story is all worth it.

And now, I'm ready to write for more.
