Hi Kathy, welcome to the JacketFlap Community. As an award winning author of the award winning Bur Bur and Friends children's book series and a mom who is passionate about childhood literacy, thanks for all you do!

I teach children ages 3 - 5 with developmental delays. I write mainly for my own pleasure, but I have also written a few children's stories which I have not been confident enough to share with others.

Hi Kathy, welcome to Jacket Flap. What kind of things do you write and for what age? You might try submitting something. That's the best way to start. Just jump right in.

Hi Kathy, I am just stopping by to see how you are doing as my JF friend. I hope you have enjoyed this great summer season. I am getting ready to release a new children's book about basketball, should be fun. I look forward to staying connected. Blessings!
