It is that tiny little book "The End of the Beginning" by AVI that brings me to question the talent it takes to create something so rich it bridges the gap between little minds and adults. How is it that a book written for children becomes the perfect gift for adults?

I adore children and animals, and believe we have lessons to learn from both should we be willing to take our ears out of our pocket, and truly listen...Did YOU know animals can talk?


My children are grown, and I am BLESSED with two grandchildren. Though I have been writing privately for years, it is these grandchildren that have brought me forth in a new personality named "Yanna" and it is for them that she eats the most unimaginable, and, of course, the most impossible things.

Should I create for children that which causes the imagination to be challenged and brings forth laughter.....my goal has, indeed, been accomplished.

And, should I write a story that little minds want to hear over and over again, I have truly given.... a gift.Oh, the wonder of books....
