Nenad Vujadinovic was born in 1964 in Kotor, Montenegro. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, received his MA degree from the University of Belgrade and his PhD degree from the University of Skopje (with his MA thesis on dialectology and PhD thesis on sociolinguistics and advertising).

His works include the following prose books: The Story About the Turtle’s Face (1987), My Name is Vil (1990), I Want to Be a Basketball Player (1995), The Princess of Storks (2008); the drama trilogy You Won’t Believe What Happened to Me Tonight (2005); and a number of short stories, screenplays, as well as critical and scholarly articles on linguistics, cinematography and advertising. His picture book Ronny (2007-2009) was published in: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, Armenian, Romanian, Albanian, Hungarian, Serbian and Polish language.

He works at the Department of Macedonian Language and South Slavonic Languages of the Faculty of Philology in Skopje and also, since 2003, in advertising as a copywriter and creative director. For his dramaturgical work and for the creative work in advertising he was awarded at several Macedonian and international festivals.
