Dear Charlotte, my own experience of writing comes after many years of explaining science to masses of people about how their food comes to exist. In those years I found one profoundly new piece of science which is going to alter how all of us think of food. I spent five years writing and illustrating FMM, a book that "completes what Upton Sinclair began in 1906." Believing intensely in subject is I suspect, the key to the first well written, important book. Good luck, your friend David Miller
