OMGosh. Same here.. The other night I was awaken by thunder and soon a very upset 42 pound 5 1/2 year old Border Collie 'Baby' jumped on the bed and tried to crawl in me for comfort, shaking and panting for an hour after it quit..so much for sleep but it sure does help keep me from freaking. lol Love the painting fits so well.

Your painting is quite wonderful. Reminds me of the movie The Red Balloon! Love the feel to this.

I know what it's like, my little dog is terrified of storms & fireworks, we have to sit up late with music turned up full volume!

I have a friend who has pills to give when a storm begins to calm her dogs. We had some of that booming here this morning. The Red Balloon--one of my favorite movies.

What a doll! I'll bet she's a bundle of love. Lots of Crack, Boom going on around here, too!

I knew it wasn't you straight off ... it's obvious that you're the red balloon flying in the face of danger before the storm.

Ah that poor Emma.......and poor you, but you can't be afraid as Emma will feel this.

We had some awesome storms here the past few days...I'm only sad I don't have a porch to sit and watch them on...I have to drive to a parking lot and sit looking like a complete nut...

We had some thunder-boomers today that were so loud the cat went running away, just terrified. Your puppy looks pretty content. What a cutie!

Hi! Your name was right before mine on Mr. Linky, so I stopped by. Your dog does look cute! Since my cat escapes from our apartment and usually ends up in the parking lot, I have tried using a leash and harness on her. She won't walk when she wears it, she low crawls. After she escaped from it and I had trouble chasing her down, I gave up on it and have made every attempt to keep her inside. I hope you've had better luck w/yours!

Amazing space (grace)...the stained glass cathedral-like window just makes that space, as well as the feeling of the hearts of the animals beating there with you.

I imagined what that window/view would be like without the stained glass...why, just a view.

Teri, I just bought this window at a little antique store in the small town next to us. After having a large Christmas wreath in that space for the month of December, I got used to the wonderful privacy it allowed me while still having a view of the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. It was kismet when I saw that stained glass window!

I think these big fields of wheat look so lonely. I always imagine the farmers out there on those huge tractors all day planting, combining etc. It just seems lonely to me. I hope you aren't feeling lonely. I know you are adjusting to your new area. Sometimes it feels like you are the only one there. You aren't alone.
