1. Ten Things Men Find Too Sexy

Men think about sex, and they think about sex a lot, so you might be amazed that something would be too sexy for a guy, but there are at least ten things that I think you may agree are too sexy, here they are.

Guys find it sexy when a girl is into the same things as him, such as a sports team, or horror flicks. What could be better than sharing a favorite past time together? Guys find it too sexy when the girl starts looking like his favorite teams best player or the killer in a horror flick.  If she looks like a quarter back or an axe murderer, its not hot.

Men love models.  Men fantasize about being with a woman who is a model.  Models are always hot, am I not right?

Guys find it attractive when a woman isn’t afraid to get dirty. It shows that she isn’t going to be a demanding little princess type. Guys find it scary when the woman doesn’t look like she has taken a bath for months.  And before you say anything about the picture not being great, you just try to look up “dirty girl picture” and see how easy it is.

Guys find it sexy when a girl works and spends some of her own money. It makes him happy to see her get the things she loves and wants. Guys find it too sexy when she spends all of her own money, his money, and money they don’t even have.  Also, and please note:  Just because you can buy anything you want, does not mean you should.

Men find a damsel in distress a bit of a turn on. It gives him a chance to be a hero for a change. Men find it concerning when the same damsel is in distress all of the time.  Well okay we might rescue her a few times before we clued in but I am sure eventually we would clue in.  Eventually.  Maybe.

Men find it kinda sexy watching a girl shave her legs. S l o w l y… with toes pointed, in the shower, water dripping off her. Not so sexy when she has to shave her face though.

Guys get turned on by a little girl on girl action or cat fight. You know what I mean. Guys do not really get too many thrills by watching actual cats fight, well hopefully not anyhow.

Guys find it sexy when a chick asks their opinion on something like which car to buy or what computer to get. Since women always think they know best, it is hot when they throw us a crumb or two. Guys really don’t like it when a chick tells them how to do something, like change a tire, or fix a computer.  And if the chick is a chicken telling a guy how to fix the computer, well that’s just wrong.

Guys find it sexy when a girl cooks, or does house work in the nude. Can’t think of anything too sexy here. Doing dishes naked, vacuuming naked, mowing the lawn naked, whatever, guys are pretty cool with it.

Guys love seeing some skin.  A little tease is wonderful.   Careful that you don’t show too much as in the photo below, the one one the left is showing a bit too much skin and has dangerously entered the world of being too sexy.

One tip to any girl wanting to appear sexy, it helps to stand next to somebody larger than yourself.

2. Sinful Nature

Green Girl tagged me with this sinful post:

"Sometimes you can learn more about a person by what they don’t tell you. Sometimes you can learn a lot from the things they just make up. If you are tagged with this Meme, lie to me. Then tag 7 other folks (one for each deadly sin) and hope they can lie."

Whew. The pressure is on. Good lying. Here goes:

Pride
What is your biggest contribution to the world?

Gosh, what a tough question. It's a real toss up between those highly acclaimed academic tomes on the principles of cold fusion and my spicy spaghetti recipe.

Envy
What do your coworkers have that you wish was yours?

Anonymity. I get hounded all the time by eager tweens begging me to please, please, please write a sequel to Dragon Wishes.

Gluttony
What did you eat last night?

Monte Cristo sandwich, fries, and baked fudge with ice cream and whipped cream. It's a real tragedy to have one of those metabolisms that just won't let you put on any weight. What's a girl to do but eat?

Lust
What really lights your fire?

Apathy. I'm so tired of men who know what they want. Couldn't they be wishy washy for a change? Not know what they want? Take years to propose? Why do they have to hurry us so?

Anger
What is the last thing that really pissed you off?

The recent election demonstrations in Iran. How dare those forward thinkers try and bring about democracy, or even fairness in election voting returns. What do they think this is, the 21st century?

Greed
Name something you hoard and keep from others:

Manuscripts. Move over Emily Dickinson. Just wait till I die. Oh, the treasures the world will find.

Sloth
What’s the laziest thing you ever did?

Gave one word answers to open-ended questions.

Disclaimer: I may be an author, but I'm not sure I'm the wittiest one when it comes to answering questions like these. It's all that Catholic upbringing. I can feel the weight of Purgatory bearing upon me as I fudge the truth. I swear! May these writers be more unencumbered in their yarn spinning :-)

3. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray

A Great and Terrible Beauty (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy) by Libba Bray

Rating:

This book wasn't really appropriate for younger readers. There was some swearing, some sexual references, the main girls drank, one of the girls cut herself, they talked about same sex relations, and there was brief nudity. The story was well written and the background interesting, but there were just too many unnecessary elements.

Description:
Gemma Doyle always dreamed of moving to England and being with people her own age. But when she watched her mother die by her own hand, she learned that getting what you wish for is not always a good thing. Once in England, Gemma was enrolled at the finishing school her mother once attended, and was forced to live with mean vindictive girls. Haunted by her mothers death, Gemma started experiencing strange visions that further alienated her from her peers. Scandals and secrecy finally united Gemma with a small group of girls, and together they formed The Order. The Order dabbled in magic and the other realms, and a costly mistake released evil into the world. Gemma must find the strength to forgive her mother and restore order, before Circe takes over the world.

4. The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks

The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks

Rating:
I remember seeing and hearing about people reading this book, but I never really wanted to read it. It was always so large and the series seemed to have no end. I decided to finally give it a try. I had a pretty difficult time reading it. The descriptive writing was very long and a bit too much for me. I thought that the story line was very predictable as well. It was very clean and appropriate however. I think that if you really like fantasy and long, involved descriptions, then you'll really like this book.

Description:
Shea Ohmsford has always lived a simple life in the little valley where he grew up. When a mysterious traveler visits, he discovers things about his past that he never would have dreamed. Now, he is involved in a deadly search for the mythical Sword of Shanara which only he can wield in defense of humanity. Shea must learn and accept the truth about himself or risk dooming the entire world to destruction.
