1. Richard Dreyfuss Is Bernie Madoff in Miniseries Trailer

ABC has unveiled a trailer for the Madoff miniseries. The video embedded above offers glimpses of Richard Dreyfuss, an Academy Award-winning actor, as the infamous Ponzi scheme fraudster Bernie Madoff.

Here’s more from Variety: “The show also stars Blythe Danner as Madoff’s wife, Ruth; Tom Lipinski and Danny Defarrari as their sons, Mark and Andrew; Peter Scolari as Bernie’s brother Peter; Erin Cummings as Eleanor Squillari; Michael Rispoli as Frank DiPascali; and Frank Whaley as Harry Markopolos. Charles Grodin and Lewis Black will also appear.”

Deadline reports that the story for this project comes from Brian Ross’ book, The Madoff Chronicles. The premiere date has been scheduled for Feb. 03, 2016. (via Rolling Stone)
