1. Fresh Air!

IMAG1879

It is a great joy to be an artist!  I rarely get tired of creating new things. When I am not creating, I am busy thinking about creating.

Occasionally I get stuck.  A design might not be working, a color might be off, a story might need more tweaking etc.  This is when its time to take a break!

Saturday was just such a day. The blue skies of Colorado were mesmerizing. The crisp clean air and the white, bright snow were a refreshing sight!  My husband and I walked along this lake soaking it all in.

Sure enough,  upon returning to my work, I could see what I could NOT see before, a new perspective!  So if you get stuck,  take a break!!  Get some fresh air!  Your work will be waiting for you only this time you might just find the solution you were looking for.

2. Spent!

That’s it!  That is all I have left in me today.  Website tweaked.  http://leslieannclarkcom and Licensing show panels off in the mail.  It is time to chill the rest of the night. A nice cold bowel of cereal sounds lovely.

3. logoff hold

A month. Over a month! I would say I'm slacking but this is Bryn's Busy Face. I'm working in a school library. I'm in library school. Life is fantastic. Especially since I've discovered I love cataloging. Ahhh the finality and organization of it all.

I've also read tons of wonderful new and new-to-me books. Unfortunately it looks like even my weekly commitment to update is too much. I find myself wanting to unleash about how Life is going and not draft a discourse of school or literature. So for my faithful readers (Mom) I'm going have to suspend this blog or at least let it be known that it will not be regularly updated. I know you're all crushed (Mom, maybe Dad). In the meantime, please visit the fabulous, regularly-updated blogs from my blogroll to your left.

Until next time, kids.

(but i will leave you with my new favorite book ...)

Leaves, by David Ezra Stein

4. Author: Tina Louise

I guess I knew this but maybe I forgot?

Tina Louise trained as an actor at the Actors Studio and the Neighborhood Playhouse. After success on Broadway, she went to Hollywood and played in a variety of films. She is best known for her comic turn as the stranded movie star Ginger in the TV series Gilligan's Island. She volunteers for Learning Leaders, a childhood-literacy advocate group in New York City, where she lives.

Still waiting for Julia Roberts to pen her children's book.
