Put yourself out there and try new things. You’ll never know if you like something unless you do it. I played eight sports in high school — half of which I had no prior experience — and I loved them all! I performed in plays and worked on the tech-crew. Don’t be afraid to meet new people. As far as making friends, I just really try to be nice to everyone. If a new student comes in, I try really hard to make him or her feel comfortable because I know how hard it must be to come into a school where almost everyone already knows each other. Francesca Capaldi
