Well, we are half way through Read an eBook Week 2009. Have you read an eBook this week? Why the heck not? Don't get excited, I'm not trying to pull you away from printed books, just want to give you a chance to see how easy it is.
I'm not going to lecture you about the pros of eBooks, though there are a lot. heehee. I just invite you to open your mind. Norm Cowie over at the Fang Face Blog brought it to our attention that a lot of people think you HAVE to have some fancy schmansy device that cost the equivalent of childbirth in 1945 to own.
Not true!
If you are reading this Blog (and if you are, thank you, please tell a friend) then you can read an eBook-you can pull those little babies up on your desktop or laptop. Don't want to sit at your computer for hours at a time to read a book? Read a short story. I can offer a few that are EXCELLENT! They are the perfect size for a lunch break read at your desk.

Don't own a Sony or Kindle, but I have read several E-Books on my computer screen...

I have to admit I'm leaning slightly toward the Sony over the Kindle. The Sony 700 has a light now, and a touch screen. And you can use a flash drive to load content. But it's even more $$ than the Kindle, still a bit too high for me to spring for.
I expect they will be demonstrating them again this year at L.A. Times Fest of Books so will drool a bit more there.
Wonder if they'd give me one on consignment to demonstrate ebook technology to those unenlightened among us? Hmmm... what books would I load?

I know that, so far, I've read all my E-Books on my computer screen. And I definitely have to say that I love how easy they are to read there.
