1. Read an eBook Week

Well, we are half way through Read an eBook Week 2009. Have you read an eBook this week? Why the heck not? Don't get excited, I'm not trying to pull you away from printed books, just want to give you a chance to see how easy it is.

I'm not going to lecture you about the pros of eBooks, though there are a lot. heehee. I just invite you to open your mind. Norm Cowie over at the Fang Face Blog brought it to our attention that a lot of people think you HAVE to have some fancy schmansy device that cost the equivalent of childbirth in 1945 to own.

Not true!

If you are reading this Blog (and if you are, thank you, please tell a friend) then you can read an eBook-you can pull those little babies up on your desktop or laptop. Don't want to sit at your computer for hours at a time to read a book? Read a short story. I can offer a few that are EXCELLENT! They are the perfect size for a lunch break read at your desk.

Famous Last Words (Ghost) by Regan Black (go follow Regan's Blog and you can get this one FREE.
A Slip of Wormwood by Heather S. Ingemar (Suspense)
The Gumshoe by Kathleen Lamarche (Mystery)
Off the Map by Marc Vun Kannon (fantasy)

These are just a few, but they are quick reads that will help you see the joy of eBooks. Trust me.

If you want to get the full experience, you can spring for a Kindle. I hear they are awesome!
