A recent study by the Pew Research Center shows that 9 out of 10 parents of children under 18 say it’s important to them that their children read printed books. The parents in the study value the sensory experience books give to children — the turning of the pages, the cover images, the rich colors of the illustrations and ink.
They also believe that reading printed books helps them to model reading habits for their children.
One parent who participated in the study thought this to be particularly true in our digital culture. “I’m reading…a book [on a tablet] and my children don’t know if I’m reading a book or if I’m playing on Twitter,” they said. “So I think it’s important to have the book so that they go, ‘Oh Dad’s reading’… not just, ‘Oh he’s updating his Facebook page.’ I think there is like a difference in that.”

Note: I apologize but there is an error on the 4th line of the first poll question. It should just say "Read or plan to predominately read ebooks". Unfortunately, blogger doesn't give me a good way to fix this without starting over.
Mmm, see, you already asked this from me on another giveaway and it just can't be done! Lol. But my answer is the same about underwater worlds and more actively aware parents.
I love dark fantasy...

I actually was thinking about this a few days ago, thinking of something different. And I thought you know there are all these Science Fiction books about aliens coming to Earth and hiding among us, blending in, so what if Humans went to an alien planet instead? And blend in among the aliens like they do on Earth. Just switch the story around. Now that would be really awesome to read. I hope I wrote this correctly and not confuse anyone.
(An example: Take the Lux series and switch around.)
This has been on my to-read list for a while. =D
