Legendary Hollywood actress Lauren Bacall has died at the age of 89.
Author and Cosmopolitan editor Helen Gurley Brown has died after a long and eventful life that followed her own advice: “Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere.”
Her career took off in 1962 when she published Sex and the Single Girl. She went on to become editor of Cosmo in 1965, helping the magazine grow into 64 international editions over the course of her career. The 1964 film starred Natalie Wood, Tony Curtis, Lauren Bacall and Henry Fonda.
