1. Blogging from A-Z 2015 Challenge - Transformation

Over the last eight years I've learned that it's possible to transform your life, whether it be your emotional outlook or career path. It's never too late to transform your life into what you've always dreamed about.

I allowed myself for years to get pigeoned holed in my career path and not exploring my deepest desire to become an author. Sure I remain working in corporate America (a girl has got to eat), but I've allowed myself to concentrate on writing time and networking over the last eight years. It's hard work crafting a manuscript, submitting, connecting with the gatekeepers of the slush pile and hoping your writing will resonate with an agent, editor, or publisher. But oh so worth it, when you hearing an amazing YES, we'd like to publish your manuscript!

It's never too late to make that transformation in your life that will make your heart and soul sing! I dare you, if there is something you've been yearning to do... such as... learning how to play a musical instrument, paint, sing or a new career path....the sky is the limit. Take the time to seek out experts for advice, weigh your options and spread your wings. You never know what will bloom!

I'm proud to say my fifth children's book is now with the amazingly talented illustrator, Jack Foster and thanks to Guardian Angel Publisher, Lynda Burch for giving me a chance. I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to see the illustrations and how Jack will make the story come alive.

Three cheers for your blossoming transformation!

I'd enjoy hearing how you have transformed your life through the years!

2. N is for Nurture - A to Z 2015 Challenge

With all the pressures of work, home, family, friends, etc., do you take the time out to nurture your body and soul?

For the longest time I would put my needs last (like so many) and would take care of everyone else. And where did that get me! Absolutely nowhere, except absolutely exhausted, both mentally and physically. And when this happens I feel like a frazzled Bugs Bunny!

Over the course of the last several years, I'm proud to say I don't say "yes" to every request or need so fast. I typically count to ten silently and ponder quickly if saying "yes" would be in my best interest. I've become more of a 50/50 to others needs. Not that I don't love my "circle" ~ I feel it's important to see them fly on their own.

Make sure your priority is healthy eating, exercise and plenty of sleep. This way you nurture what inspires you... the choices are endless... writing, art, knitting, photography, etc. You name it the sky is the limit.

Like my Nana would always say, "happy mama and daddy, happy family!"

4. A-Z 2015 Challenge - The Muffin Commando Squad

Logo by: www.matusic.com

Like so many of us in the writing world we have developed wonderful friendships through cyberspace. C. Lee McKenzie and I met just this way back in 2007/08 and have remained friends/colleagues ever since. When Lee reached out to me to join The Muffin Commando squad under her guidance for the A-Z 2015 Challenge I eagerly accepted.

My esteemed partners in crime...

Our fearless leader, C. Lee McKenzie
Yvonne Ventresca
Elizabeth Seckman
Carrie Butler
Patricia Lynne
Tyrean Martinson
Tara Tyler
Tammy Theriault

We've been asked by our fearless leader to answer a few questions so visitors can get to know us better. Here are my answers...

If you really were a muffin, what kind of muffin would you be?

I'd have to say chocolate chocolate chip. I got hooked on these when I was working for the mall management firm at our local mall a different lifetime ago. The smell of muffins filled our office daily since we shared a wall with the muffin store. I was too weak not to have one at least twice a week if not more. Needless to say, my waistline suffered because of it.

What's your favorite food?

Veal Sorrentino from Del 'Arte restaurant in Blauvelt, NY. Simply amazing. It literally melts in your mouth.

You have to evacuate your home in three minutes. What would you take?

My children, hubby, pocketbook and my favorite Graf von Faber-Castell pen.

In the words of my favorite cartoon character...

At least for now! For those of you that know me, you know I always have something to say!

Until next time...
