2014 saw the launch of designer Mel Smith's first homeware collection featuring tea towels, lampshades and cushions. I have fallen head over heals for this new owl print spotted at Marks & Spencer. The colourful 'Owls' design mixes a lot of print trends such as woodland, triangles, and even tribal navajo styling. Sam Osborne is a UK based designer and illustrator creating bold, colourful, modern, geometric based patterns and designs. Sam has just launched a brand new collection called "Wondercook" which is all themed around food and cooking. The designs have a retro feel and the range includes limited edition prints, greetings card, notecards, mugs and a recipe journal. All items are available at Etsy
These colourful designs are from Love Faith And Hope. Designed by Dimitria Jordan they are part of her Kroma range which incorporate elements of pattern and type. Dimitria is also one of the young designers chosen by the Princes Trust to create a range of homewares for George at Asda that will promote her designs and raise money for charity.
