1. Diary of a Fluky Kid by Lee D. Thompson

Delighted as I was to receive an email asking me to review a copy of New Brunswick author, Lee D. Thompson’s, newest published short story, I was even more delighted after reading it.

Diary of a Fluky Kid (Fierce Shorts) is a story about baseball and not about baseball. A short anecdotal tale excellent for young and older readers alike, filled with a powerful message yet still an enjoyable and light read.

The story of Lee himself maybe, a short biography of how baseball dreams turned artist into writer, Diary of a Fluky Kid breaks the surface of the lives we all lead at some point.

Wonderfully written to grab sports fans and general readers, I enjoyed sliding to home plate with Lee and his team just as Fierce Ink Press Co-op Ltd is doing with this rising to fame author.

Thanks for reading,
