I find the placement of the male and female characters on the cover interesting too--I can't decide if the dude is the passive one, with the girl being in charge, or if she is hiding behind him. I think she looks too fierce for the latter...

Yay for interracial relationships on the cover of a book! We see very little of that unfortunately.
Man, I'm still trying to decide if I want to read Transcendence. On the one hand, I love the cover, and also I LOVE London! I think I'm going to have to check it out...thanks for sharing :)

The cover struck me as well--here in Australia we have a similar issue with very generic, anglocentric covers. I'm going to keep an eye out for this one.
