The Awards received over 2300 entries from all over the world, and it should be seen as a very special achievement to have been shortlisted by the jury.

Award Winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony at Somerset House, the major arts and cultural centre in the heart of London (tbc), before touring the UK, as well as being showcased in an accompanying publication, which will be circulated to all major commissioners of illustration.

7. Dear Apple, This is what I see every time I recharge your ‘Magic’ Mouse

Dear Apple,
This is what I see every time I recharge your ‘Magic’ Mouse. Style over practicality, I can’t understand why the charging port couldn’t be in the end so you can use it wired while it charges. Just dumb.

Rod Hunt was commissioned to illustrate the cover of Swedish craft brewing magazine c/o Hops for an article on sorting out the mutitude of different 'labels' for new craft beer and brewers.

What do we call our beer? None of the words we use to describe our beer is properly defined, or have changing definitions depending on whom you ask and where. Do we need all these epithets for our beer? We explain the concepts; Micro, macro, nano, pico, craft beer, mega craft beer, boutique beer, quality beer, local beer, small beer and more.

13. Rod Hunt illustrates FirstBank's Capture The Cube Advertising Campaign

Rod Hunt was commissioned by TDA Boulder to illustrate an expansive and accurate map of the Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado for FirstBank's 'Capture the Cube' promotion.

Using the map on the Capture the Cube website or Instagram, and the clues from the FirstBank Instagram during the promotion you can search for ninty-nine orange FirstBank Cubes hidden in various locations across the mountain. Finding the hidden object or character that matches the clue shows where on the mountain the real cube has been hidden. Then by using the Cube Finder app the compass will point the user in the direction of the hidden cube. Once a cube has been found the winner can then claim their free snowboard or skis at the FirstBank tent in the Village Center.

14. Single Pencil: 2B-Boys & 2B-Girls Illustration

Rod Hunt created a drawing for the 'Single Pencil' exhibition currated by his Artists' Rep Bernstein and Andriulli at the House of Vans and launched at the GLUG Summer Party. The brief was to produce a drawing using only a single Staedler pencil. Rod's B-boying (or breakdancing) theme was inspired by a conversation with BA Reps about his usual pencil of choice, that he was a '2B Boy'. He subsequently created an illustration based on the original pencil drawing.
