3. Faerie Magazine

I wrote a short essay for the Spring issue of Faerie Magazine
about my book AMONG A THOUSAND FIREFLIES.

No other living creature captures the magic of faeries like fireflies.

A beautiful magazine, pick up a copy and let me know what you think.

6. Creatures of Light

My wildlife filmmaking will appear in the PBS NOVA documentary “Creatures of Light”,
produced by National Geographic Television,
on February 3, 2016 at 9 pm on PBS.

“On a summer’s night, there’s nothing more magic than watching
the soft glow of fireflies switching on and off. Few other life forms
on land can light up the night, but in the dark depths of the oceans,
it’s a different story…”

8. Starred review from KIRKUS REVIEW

Our first review, a starred review from KIRKUS REVIEW for AMONG A THOUSAND FIREFLIES!

“In Frost and Lieder’s third exploration of tiny creatures taken for
granted in the natural world, they top themselves, lyrically centering

11. World Fantasy Convention 2015

On my way to the World Fantasy Convention 2015 in New York through next week.

I’m a special guest, curating an exhibition of artist Richard Powers paintings, along with panels, special displays and online features.

Powers was a giant of 20th century illustration, changing the way books were designed and presented.

Below is the cover of a small book I edited and designed just for the conference.
