Learning Workshop, Inc
The Learning Workshop is a 22-year-old company that was founded on the premise that learning should be both academically relevant and engaging. We believe that children in the formative years of preschool through the second grade should be exposed to a curriculum that is filled with inspirational practices that not only conform to the current research about the best teaching strategies, but do it in such a way that it touches the mind and heart of every student receiving the instruction. We are always mindful of the state-mandated standards that teachers must follow each year and before we create any of our workshops, we review these learning bench marks and ensure that our materials and strategies are in alignment. In the creation of our workshops we use instructional techniques of music, movement, repetition and interaction. We engage all modalities and individual styles of learning to help ensure every student maximizes his or her opportunity to succeed. We have given thousands of workshops to teachers throughout the United States and have thousands of testimonials detailing the effectiveness of our materials and methods. We are committed to the success of all students. Our desire is to see classroom experiences take place where both teacher and student share in the magic and joy of learning each day.
