I don't have to look her up...I had the amazing opportunity to care for Kathryn in her home in Rauchtown, PA. It was the home Kate was born and raised in. There is nobody on earth like Kate. She is an amazing woman! She can not only write, but she has the most amazing ability to bring people with such comfort. She stands up for what is right, she taught me so much. I learned to today that Kate was given her last rites...I encourage everyone to explore her life, and be captivated by her ability to demand attention in a way that motivates you to want to continue. She was one of the reasons the RIF Program in D.C. was founded, she worked with Charles Schultz, and is the honoree of the Kathryn Wentzel Lumley Aviation Center in Williamsport, PA.

I'm not sure who wrote the above blog, however, this is the granddaughter of Kathryn Lumley who was with her at the time she passed on. She never went by the name Kate, nor was she given last rights so please get your 'facts' right. The one thing that you do have correct, she was an amazingly accomplished woman!
