I've been at this thing called writing for more years than seem possible. After a five years in the classroom, a Master's Degree, and a baby, I decided that what I really wanted to do in life was to write.

The road has taken many twists and turns. My first books were work-for-hire series for middle and junior high school. From there, I had enough "experience" to pitch my first "real" book - Dead Serious, a book for teens about teen suicide. With great reviews and good sales under my belt, I went on to write two more "big" books, Brothers&Sisters and Thanks For The Memories.

Scattered in between were a host of books on subjects ranging from sports to Amelia Earhart to the challenges of a Russian Jewish family who moved to the United States.

I'm always open to new and challenging projects and look ahead to many more years of just that.
