The book has a great mixture of drama and comic relief, which is greatly needed through some of the hard stuff. The story is explained with a limited omniscient view through Kenny, the middle child. The way his innocence explains things is very humorous, profound, and offers the perspective of a child in those difficult times. tags: I read, I recommend
