A handy picture book full of thumbley, knuckley characters, who are usually up to their elbows in trouble. I was inspired to write this book by my right hand, which has written over 100 books for children. So far, my left hand has shown no writing talent, and spends most of its time lazing around in lavish costume jewelry. I enjoy thumbwrestling and handtools, and am often seen wearing garden gloves, oven mitts, or glittery fingernail polish--depending on the occasion.
