The Author of this wonderful story really shows children how exciting life on a ranch can be through completely colorful descriptions of animals and how they behave, as well as how things are done on the ranch every day. Kids will love some of the antics that occur throughout the book and the reactions of Tracy as she experiences this new way of life. I found myself laughing many times as I read the book and even found myself telling my adult daughter some of the funny parts. It truly is a timeless book that anyone would enjoy reading. I highly suggest it to anyone who loves a good read that is fictional but simple. It's a good down home story full of surprises. Kudos to the Author!
