But as we read the first story of how Snake and Lizard become friends, as the result of a short quarrel over who was in whose way on the path, she quickly turned to commenting on how they could make up so quickly and stay friends even after a fight. Along the lines of the Little Bear stories, however in nearly all the Snake and Lizard stories the distinct differences between these two desert dwellers causes some difficulty that must be solved with some compromise, or creativity. |
