The book does include a section on what publishers look for when it comes to poetry, but keep in mind that it is not a writing guide. It's a guide to the whole business, and the chapters on submissions and agents and working with an editor are aimed at writers of all types. There's also a chapter on "how-tos" for writers, and how to choose the one that's right for you.
