About Cynthia Von Buhler
Cynthia von Buhler is an internationally known and award-winning artist. Her artwork has been displayed in galleries and museums around the world, on CD covers, and in books, magazines, and newspapers. Many lucky people also have some of her paintings in their own personal art collections.
Cynthia lives in a castle on Staten Island with her eight cats, six doves, three goldfish, two rats, two koi fish, one opossum, and her husband, Russell. She is the illustrator of several picture books for children, including They Called Her Molly Pitcher, which was chosen as one of the top 100 picture books of the year by the New York Public Library, and Little Girl in a Red Dress with Cat and Dog, which received a starred review in Publishers Weekly. The Cat Who Wouldn’t Come Inside is Cynthia’s first book as both author and illustrator.
