Cape Catley Ltd
Cape Catley Ltd is a small independent publishing house, established in New Zealand's Marlborough Sounds in 1973 by Christine Cole Catley. From April 2000 the editorial branch moved from the Sounds to Devonport, Auckland, while the sales, marketing and the publishing inquiries branch went to Featherston in Wairarapa. Cape Catley books have always reflected the publisher's interests: New Zealand fiction, children's books, biography and autobiography, social justice, feminism, politics, local history, health, gardening and yachting. As well as editing and publishing, Chris Cole Catley has conducted writers' workshops since 1968, for polytechnics and universities, newspapers and community groups. These have quite often led to publication by Cape Catley but also by other publishers. Cape Catley is distributed by HarperCollins Publishers (New Zealand) Ltd.
Specifically interested in books with these subjects or themes: fiction and non-fiction for children and teens (adventure, biography, drama, humour)
