Esme was the beloved daughter of the chieftain from a Highland clan and an only child. The burden and obligations felt would overwhelm most, but not the Lady Esme. She was confident she had grown to be loyal and strong while so very capable. When travesty struck, she realized it was completely up to her to protect. If she did not act quickly, all within her life she had known and loved would be destroyed.
