As she struggles with her father's murder, her mother's alcoholism, and her boyfriend's transformation from a stellar student and star athlete to a drug dealer, she grows desperate to get some of, what she calls, the white magic, believing it is the secret to happiness. So when her half-sister is kidnapped, Aria must risk her life to uncover the real secret to happiness in order to save her sister, herself, and the ones she loves.
