This brand-new title in Barron's Diaries Series takes its young heroes Josh and Maisie to medieval Europe on an action-packed adventure. Like other titles in this fun series, Castle Adventure is filled with dramatic interactive color illustrations that include fold-outs, flaps to lift, attachments on many of the pictures, and an enclosed four-color poster that makes a great wall decoration. The castle poster unfolds to approximately 16 3/4" x 21 1/2". As the story begins, Josh and Maisie are exploring the bookshelves in their grandfather's study. When they remove a special book, they discover how to enter a secret passageway hidden behind the shelves. The passageway is a kind of time machine that transports them to a medieval castle where they meet a knight who must overthrow an evil Baron. The kids' mission is to help him lay siege to the Baron's castle. As boys and girls follow the story, they'll discover among the illustrations--
