She was born in Chicago Illinois, but at the age of ten, moved to California with her mother and four siblings. She has one younger sister and three older brothers. She holds a doctorate degree in psychology, and is currently an independent family planning therapist. She aspire great things in her life, which includes a great man. Shantell is raising two sons, so the man in her life must exemplify a positive role model. Of course, she believes we all are not perfect, nor are the things we go through in life perfect. But, we can face the toils of life and learn from them. It is not only important for her to learn from her mistakes, but also important for her sons to see how life is educating their mother.Shantell has been invited to be the keynote speaker at a national convocation in New York. According to the invitation, several women's organizations will meet up at the conference to discuss the lessons they've learned from dealing with men in their relationships. The theme of the conference is 'Relationships'. Shantell will share with them some of her experiences, as well as profound information her mother gave her to use in her adult life.
