HERE ARE SOME EXCERPTS TAKEN FROM THE BOOK:

Dak got off the ship as it landed. Before anyone could see him, Dak hopped out of the ship and hopped into a crater. Now to wait. Just as Dak was about to speed up time, a blue thing crashed into the crater next to him. "What was that!" he said with no noise. A door opened up on the blue thing. A creature walked out. Then another one came out after the first one was out of the way. The first creature pointed at the TDM. It opened its mouth, but no sound came out. "No atmosphere," Dak thought.

He was going as fast as he could. The creature climbed out of the crater and started shooting pink pulses at Dak. One of them almost hit him and it burned as it flew past.
