Book Description
The Stranger is the perfect introduction to Camus' philosophy of the Absurd. Throughout the novel you realize there really isn't much of an emotion connection to the events that happen. Mersault's trial is the perfect example of society trying to rationalize an event that occurred simply because it did - with no real motivation behind it.
