From the supplier: The Insurance Institute for Property Loss Reduction (IIPLR) has given a Community Spotlight award to Avalon, NJ, for its strategic planning efforts to mitigate natural disaster damage. It is the first such award given under the IIPLR's new program to encourage the establishment of mitigation programs to increase community safety and keep insurance costs affordable and available. Avalon's strategy focused on the prevention of water erosion.
