From the supplier: Caregivers outside the home need to know the developmental sequence of feeding skills and behaviors to ensure proper nutrition. Armed with such knowledge, supplemental caregivers can check whether their feeding practices are appropriate to the growth and development of children. Children with special needs require special adjustments on the part of caregivers. For instance, special feeding methods must be devised for children with poorly coordinated motor skills.
