MoreWHAT LIES BENEATH THE BED - TOMMY'S TALES is the first of seven books in the WHAT LIES BENEATH THE BED - SERIES. TOMMY'S TALES is the story of seven friends who meet at Bucky's tree fort to plan their mischief and adventures. It's there that Tommy and his friends (known as the gang) share their dreams, nightmares and fears of what seems to be living under their beds at night. What they don't realize is that these tales during Story Time are about to become a reality.
Tommy accidentally discovers the power to reach the nether world under his bed from an accident that had happened at summer camp, and finds himself on the tropical island of Maccabus. Omit, the friendly troll, takes Tommy to Crystal Pond and Tropical Garden, before heading to Orin's castle. Tommy realizes that all his friends' nightmares and dreams come to life on the island. Omit takes Tommy on multiple adventures that most kids would die for.
However, the real adventure begins when Tommy arrives on the island a second time with his friends, after being warned by Orin not to return. Tommy and his friends find themselves in the fight for their lives as the island is completely the opposite of Tommy's first adventure; wicked and evil. Crystal Pond is now Murky Lake and Tropical Garden is now Dead Garden. Wicked Orin calls upon his evil creatures and army to stop the gang from finding the hidden tunnel that will lead them off the island and back to the safety of their homes.
