Ready, Set, Go! is a four book series designed for elementary level students. It develops the four language skills, and the material allows for a wide range of teaching techniques and student-centered activities. The series can be used for both small and large groups.

Ready, Set, Go! gives special attention to first-level students who are still consolidating the learning process even in their native language. That's why the exercises in the first five lessons of book 1 only practice recognition of a very limited number of words. The last five lessons introduce students to the initial stages of reading and writing. Activities relevant and enjoyable to this age group help students develop a real feel for the language.

The lesson themes of the Ready, Set, Go! series are designed to correlate directly with the educational process of the corresponding level. English is combined with cross-curricular topics chosen for their interest to students of this age group.
Each book in the series presents 10 lessons. Sections such as "Let's Have Fun" and "Songs" are included to stimulate language learning.

Components include a student book, cassette tape, teacher's picture kit (with posters and corresponding suggestions for classroom activities), teacher's test kit (with suggested exercises for student evaluation and keys to the exercises), and a video.
