Sam and his friend Nick are going fishing on a lake in Connemara. At first, they are enjoying themselves a great deal. Then, as the day begins to change and the mist slowly creeps in, they decide to go home. On the way they hear the cry of someone in pain. Nick has to go for help. Sam is left alone with an injured man and a half-dead pony to face the coming night. The nightmare has begun.
