Written in verse, each "fable" introduces one of God's creations who must learn to overcome a negative characteristic trait, i.e. Terence the Tattling Tree, Wendy the Whining Wind, Seymour the Selfish Sea, et al. Each story is charmingly illustrated with characters who are easily identifiable by children and adults alike. Clyde the Cloud develops low self-esteem from his jealousy towards Susanna the Sun.
