This series aims to help teenagers make up their own minds controversial contemporary issues around the world. The arguments on different sides of each issue are illustrated by means of quotations taken from a variety of different sources - government statistics, independent experts, public figures and people with personal experience of the subject. Readers are guided through the arguments by a running narrative that introduces the quotations and their sources and endeavours to put them into context.
