Reluctant hero Conor Kelly realises this when he finds himself unexpectedly entombed within the silent black tunnels deep beneath ancient Heapstown Cairn, where he is forced to confront his greatest fear... Enticed by the enigmatic Annalee of the Sidhe, wheelchair bound Conor enters the magical realm of Tir na Nog. He will risk anything to achieve his dream, something we all take for granted. The ability to walk and talk. Unbeknown to Conor, he possesses a wealth of magical powers and knowledge, lore long lost to the Sidhe, which he must somehow use to find the Four Lost Treasures of Eirean. These artefacts once belonged to the Tuatha de Denann, who ruled Ireland four thousand years ago. With them, the Sidhe hope to restore their land to its former glory. Conor sets out with Annalee on an adventure through Irish mythology, visiting the ancient sites of Tara and Newgrange. However, it soon becomes apparent that Annalee is not all she seems... Meanwhile, Bres, once a Denann king, also seeks the lost treasures as revenge against past Sidhe wrongdoing. He will stop at nothing to get them. How can Conor in his wheelchair possibly defeat him? Conor's search for the lost treasures takes him on a voyage of self-discovery as he realises that anyone, even the most unlikely of us, can still be a hero.
