Cuentos Golosos is the work of writer and journalist Ingrid Ortega Borges, who combines two playful children's stories, one written in rhyme and the other in prose. In the first story, "�Qui�n se comi� el s�ndwich?" (Who ate the sandwich?), the mysterious disappearance of a sandwich sets off a series of comical situations. Grandparents, toys, and even the cat are treated as suspects. The second story, "Emilio de muy mal humor" (Emilio' in a very bad mood), narrates the story of a boy who is really mad after his mother punishes him and sends him to his room. Lying in his bed, Emilio dreams that he falls through a hole and arrives in a wonderful world, full of delicious fruits, candies, and chocolates. Emilio wakes up from his dream in a very good mood! The reader must determine if the misterious place is real or not.
Written in a playful, simple, and entertaining style, Cuentos Golosos is a story inspired by the author''s children, who contributed to the imaginative and playful narration of the two stories. There is no doubt that children and young adults alike will enjoy this colorful tale.
