Opening pages provide background information about the different creatures referred to as Bigfoot. Detailed maps provide a geographical context for the sightings. Closing pages examine the various pieces of evidence which have been claimed as proof of the existence of an as yet unidentified creature, including the infamous Willow Creek film footage claiming to show a bigfoot, and considers the role breakthroughs in scientific technology such as DNA testing, are playing in solving the mystery. Glossary, index and recommended further reading are included. This work helps achievce the goals of the Scottish Standard Currilulum 5-14, promoting 'positive attitudes to learning', 'knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the world' and 'skills in literacy'.
