Bianca Best absolutely loves ballet. She lives for ballet - but she'd rather live for ballet in Paris. She's 11, the perfect age to attend the prestigious "Paris Pirouette" program for gifted young dancers. She has her mom's approval, her boxes of new pointe shoes, and knows just enough French to live in a sleep-away school in Paris. All she needs is to complete fifty hours of pre-pointe ballet instruction by September first. Then she's on a plane to make her ballet dreams come true.

But what happens when Bianca makes the best friends of her life the summer before she moves to France? Does she stay home and lose out on a golden opportunity to live in Paris and study ballet?
