She finishes kindergarten and is looking forward to a great summer. Her annual family trip to her Aunt Velma's turns sour when a neighbor's great granddaughter comes over to play. She and Meg do not see eye to eye, and things get out of hand. Her visit to her aunt's house ends on a happy note when Amelia goes home. Meg is excited to spend a week alone with Granny Mae. She gets bad news when she realizes that her little sister, Sara, is staying too. Granny Mae makes a surprising announcement to the family that will change everything.
