Stuart, an orphan boy, was raised by an innkeeper. Before she died, she told him to go and find his family or the country of his mother's birth, that the ring she carried must be of some great importance. He was told to keep it safe until he found out why his mother never sold it to keep them from starving. He went to sea until he met a Freedom Fighter and went north with him. He was captured by an evil wizard and was made a slave. There he met the wizard, Rupert, from Starling. They escaped and vowed to return and destroy the evil wizard Beltazar. With the help of the Dwarf kingdom, an Earth Wizard and his friend Rupert, they saved the enslaved people of Starling. Through his travels he met his true love and later found out he was the rightful King of Starling.
