In this first of a forthcoming series Podge the Pony learns about kindness and true friendship he also faces some of the challenges that our children do when growing up in a toddlers world. A lovely story to share with your child to teach them the important lessons on sharing, inclusion and kindness. The book begins with Podge having a bad day; he manages to upset his mum, his friends and himself. It takes "time-out" for Podge to realise how awful he has been during this day and to rectify his ways with his Mum and friends. He learns through kindness comes happiness, through sharing comes inclusion and through helpfulness comes rewards. Being receptive to the feelings of others makes him a better friend and a pony that others want to spend time with. This is a simple story about the moral of kindness and one, which most toddlers should relate to. We encourage you to share both the pictures and words with your child and to initiate meaningful discussions about the moral and messages associated with the story.
