Alyssa Says is about a kind-hearted bear who enjoys life with her loving family. She tells our children how much Jesus loves them, about the beautiful things he has made and all the wonderful things he has done, when she says, "I know a famous man." "You're an angel," she says when she talks about being real for Jesus. She says, "I want to be a real angel. An angel of God." Then while making out her list for all the wonderful gifts she wants to receive from Santa for Christmas, Alyssa remembers to leave space on her list for those gifts only Jesus could give, like joy, peace, eternal life, love and happiness. In this story Alyssa Says, "Jesus gives the best gifts," he's even better than Santa Claus. Who is your neighbor? It's not just the person living next door, Alyssa says. It's everyone we meet, and Alyssa explains this in "Love thy neighbor." She says we should show love to everyone and judge no one. In the last story Alyssa prays with her best friend that God would make her a big sister, Alyssa Says "Pray it makes things happen". And it does happen. Alyssa Says every child is special, no matter what kind of family they are from. With her gentle spirit Alyssa reaches every child, she is the perfect role model. Children will be anxious to read all that Alyssa Says.
